Encore un dessin pour Illustration Friday, et cette fois-ci le thème porte sur les souvenirs. Les moments passés entre amis sont précieux et sont source de bons souvenirs pour plus tard (okay c’est cucul, mais tellement vrai). Désolée pour la qualité d’image.

Un autre dessin (pas très récent) pour le site Illustration Friday, qui a pour thème cette semaine “detached”. Pas très évident au départ, mais en y réfléchissant bien, on peut trouver plusieurs idées autour. Ici, la jeune femme semble se détendre et donc être “libérée” de ses soucis.

Another drawing (not the lattest) pour Illustration Friday website, which new theme is “detached”. It seems quite tough but finally, I think there are a lot possibilities around this. The lady you can see is relaxing and thus seems to be “detached” from her troubles.

Encore un thème du site Illustration Friday, mais bon à l’époque, je n’avais pas eu le temps de poster quelque chose dessus. Enfin l’idée était quand même restée et voilà ce que ça donne. La demoiselle semble attendre quelqu’un qui ne vient pas d’où son inquiétude…

Enfin des nouveaux dessins par ici. Désolée pour le manque de mise à jour, je n’ai pas eu beaucoup de temps pour dessiner récemment. Voici quelques robes vintage un peu inspirées des années ’50s – ’60s.

Finally new drawings there. Sorry for the lack of update, I’ve been rather busy thus I didn’t have a lot of time to draw. Here are few vintage dresses, inspired from the ’50s and the ’60s.

ELECTRICITY

Le thème de la semaine (9 au 15 mai) du site Illustration Friday est “Electricity”, un sujet très intéressant et qui permet pas mal de choses en matière de création. Par manque de temps, je ne pourrai pas soumettre une bonne illustration pour le sujet mais comme j’ai envie d’y participer, voici cette photo (un peu floue je sais, mais l’effet rend bien).

“Electricity” is the theme of Illustration Friday’s website for this week (9-15 May). This topic is very interesting and there is a lot of possibities to create something. Unfortunately, I don’t have time enough to submit a good illustration, but as I really want to participate, I chose to post this picture (okay, it’s quite blurred, but I like the mood).

FRANKY

Allez, encore un petit personnage sympathique. Pourquoi Franky? Ben je ne sais pas, mais je trouve que ça lui va bien comme nom, généralement les gangsters ont ce type de prénom dans les polars. Voilà, voilà. Encore un article super passionnant, normalement le prochain devrait être plus palpitant si tout va bien^^

Another cute character. Why is he called Franky? I don’t know but I think this name correspond rather well to him and in general, gangsters often have this kind of name in polars. Noramally the next article will be more interesting if everything is okay^^

GUN WOMAN

J’ai voulu changer un peu de style pour ce dessin. Déjà je me suis remise à la gouache, ça va ce n’est pas si catastrophique, enfin je crois… Et pour le personnage, je suis partie des jeux vidéos (où on peut voir pas mal de filles toujours super sexy (on voit que ce sont des hommes aux commandes) qui manient assez bien le flingue, parfois c’est aussi le cas pour les hommes^^), et quelques films aussi. Apparement, celle-ci a l’air pas mal énervée, va savoir pourquoi…

I tried something new for this drawing. First, I finally started using gouache again, well… I think this is not so poor. Then I though about video games (where girls are always sexy (it’s obvious that’s men creat them) and use guns so well, it’s the same for guys sometimes too^^) and about movies too. This girl seems to be very angry, I can’t tell you why…

FAIL

Vous pouvez déjà voir ce dessin sur mon précédent blog, mais il se trouve que le sujet de cette semaine du site Illustration Friday est “fail” donc tout ce qui tourne autour de l’échec, je me suis dit qu’il pourrait coller au thème. Ça illustre un peu ma vision des examens que l’on passe à l’oral (traumatisme??), et apparement pas mal de personnes ont dû échouer à en voir la tête de l’examinateur.

I can already see this drawing in my former blog, but as the new topic of website Illustration Friday is “fail”, I thought it could correspond to this theme. This the way I imagine interviews we have when we write exams. I think a lot of people must have failed since the man doesn’t seem to be very nice.

AT THE CAFETERIA

En ce moment, je n’ai pas vraiment le temps de peindre et dessiner étant donné que j’ai pas mal de boulot. Mais cela n’empêche pas de faire quelques croquis quand même. J’ai fait celui-ci à la cafeteria, en attendant une amie. En fait, l’idée m’est venue de dessiner ces deux jeunes femmes parce que celle de droite avait une pose intéressante à reproduire (faut bien s’occuper.

I don’t have time to draw or paint because I’m rather busy. However, that doesn’t prevent me from sketching. I made this one at the cafeteria while I was waiting for a friend. In fact, I drew those girls because the one on the right had an interesting pose to draw.

(NO) BOXING HELENA

Un essai de caricature (j’ai bien dis essai) de caricature de l’actrice Helena Bonham Carter. Ça fait depuis longtemps que je galère pour la dessiner (d’un autre côté, je ne voulais pas trop la maltraiter non plus, vu que c’est l’une de mes actrices favorites, j’aime beaucoup son personnage), et pour une fois, je suis à peu près contente du résultat… Vos avis sont les bienvenus évidement =)

This is an attempt (I said attempt) of a caricature of actress Helena Bonham Carter. I’ve been trying to draw her for a long time (but I didn’t want to torture her, because she’s one of my favorites actresses, I really like the character in her), and this is the first time I think I managed it properly… Your opinions are welcome =)

Premier “vrai” post pour ce nouveau blog, mais bon c’est toujours difficile d’écrire le premier article… Tout d’abord, bienvenue chez moi. Je ne garantis pas de mise à jour régulières, dans la mesure où j’essaye de dessiner dès que j’ai du temps et quand l’inspiration est de mon côté aussi. Quelques croquis pour commencer.
